I love to bring people together, flexing my creative muscles as a curator celebrating writers of color and independent publishers, and all-around literary hype woman.

I’ve worked for over a decade in the arts and culture nonprofit world in New York City, including at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, PEN America, the Guggenheim Museum, and more.

Currently, I’m a co-Chair of the International Literature Committee at the Brooklyn Book Festival and directing programs at the nonprofit Singapore Unbound. I was a member of the 2024 curatorial committee for the PEN America World Voices Festival, and I’m also a member of the Starlings Collective, a group of BIPOC adoptee writers dedicated to uplifting adoptee voices.

I received my MFA in Fiction from the Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA), where I completed an Indigenous futurist short story collection about adoption and the griefs and joys the land holds. While at IAIA, I was honored to work with Morgan Talty, Pam Houston, Brandon Hobson, Bojan Louis, Chip Livingston, Kelli Jo Ford, and others.

I’m an Andean, Indigenous, transracial and transnational adoptee, born in Santiago, Chile, and based in Brooklyn, New York. I’d love to talk to you about writing, Andean and Indigenous futurisms, exploring South America, the transracial adoptee experience, and/or books.
